“Important Tech Tip – With any of our controllers that have a brake potentiometer system – When finished racing it is best to turn the brake pot to “FULL BRAKES” (white line UP) and if that is done there is a self-resetting all electronic circuit breaker in our system that will protect the brake pot from damage if the controller is accidently misconnected.  If the brakes are not set to “full” then the pot can be burnt out in some circumstances if the controller is misconnected or connected to the wrong polarity track system.”
